Increases to National Regatta Entry Fees in 2023

Following a review of regatta finances from across the 2022 season, the SRC have made the decision to increase the entry fee for national regattas from £7.50 to £10 per seat, to come into effect in 2023.

This is not a decision that has been made lightly, but is a reflection of the changing financial situation surrounding our national regattas. In 2022, three out of four regattas held at Holme Pierrepont ran at a considerable loss, which is not sustainable in the long term.

We appreciate that in light of the changing economic climate, this increase in prices is coming at a difficult time. However, we hope that the community understands that this decision reflects the increases in costs we have experienced in running national regattas. The SRC are committed to finding new ways to add value to our programme of domestic racing as part of our current strategy plan.
